Summary

We turned the e-commerce store for Vzari, a gaming glasses brand by Vizo, into an interactive performance lab with a diagnostic wizard and a reaction speed test. Prescription returns fell 45% and orders rose 27%.

Overview

Vzari is not just selling glasses, it is selling a competitive advantage. The goal was to build a digital ecosystem that helps gamers understand how specialized lenses, optimized for blue light, contrast and focal depth, affect their in-game reaction speed and cognitive endurance.

By bridging optical science and competitive gaming, we turned the purchase into an interactive performance audit. Players see how specialized lenses reduce latency and cognitive fatigue during high-stakes play.

The challenge

The store had to make the benefits of specialized lenses tangible, create immediate buy-in with gamers, and take the friction out of a clunky optical prescription form.

What we did

  • A step-by-step diagnostic wizard that analyzes a player's habits: hours played, game genres, screen distance and reaction speed. It then recommends a lens profile that balances contrast enhancement for FPS players against eye fatigue reduction for RPG marathoners.
  • A gamified reaction speed module. Users run a baseline test while we track click latency and visual tracking accuracy. A "Performance Gap" report shows how visual strain, which the lenses mitigate, slows these metrics over time.
  • A redesigned prescription form. We replaced the clunky standard form with a clean, visual interface. Validation logic stops users from entering incompatible data, which reduces support tickets and helps every pair arrive right.

The work used AI prototyping, interactive prototypes, user research and persona validation, and usability testing.

Results

The store moved from a traditional storefront to a high-performance diagnostic tool. Prescription returns dropped 45%, customer support tickets fell 15%, and orders increased 27%. Shoppers get empirical proof of their visual limits and the benefits of optimized optics, which builds trust and reduces buyer's hesitation.
